Gypsy and Sons - Ventile Smock Black

The Gypsy & Sons Ventile smock combines nostalgia and Japanese quality to create the perfect outdoor jacket. It is based on jackets worn by pre-war mountain troops and comes fully lined with three front pockets. It is made from Ventile, a fabric first developed at the Shirley Institute in Manchester during the 1930s and used in military uniforms, pilots’ immersion suits and in bushcraft clothing. Its high-density weave provides protection from inclement weather, and in heavy rain, the fibres expand to repel water completely. It is finished with a contrast zip toggle, hood and internal dual branding.
